When the container leaves, an online tracking number for the progress of the goods will be given to each customer. This will allow them to track the container to its final destination. There will be no need to call the Ottawa-Kin agency for a follow-up.
For small goods, the customer must ensure to properly pack them in stiff boxes (metal, cardboard or plastic) and identify each of the goods by putting the information of the sender (or the consignee) :
The customer is responsible for the customs clearance costs of his goods until the final destination.
Prices for shipments of goods by sea are not based on weight as we do for shipments by air.
The fees that are paid to the agency are only the transport costs; from Canada to the DRC. Once the goods have arrived at their final destination, the customer will take care of the transport of their goods.
